The beaches in this area are quiet with calm waters and include Rum Point’s shallow waters, Starfish Point’s resident starfish (do not take them out of the water), and Cayman Kai Public Beach.

DINING

We are proud of our distinctive Rum Point style of hospitality. The Wreck Bar & Grill serves up food for lunch at our seaside picnic tables and we also offer an impressive array of tropical drinks. Did we mention our delicious mudslides? You can also enjoy your meal while relaxing in one of our hammocks!

The restaurant has spacious dining areas both inside and on the verandah. A colorful Caribbean motif that includes hand-carved chairs creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere Before dinner relax and enjoy one of our famous cocktails at the bar and watch expert chefs preparing Caribbean cuisine in

Grand Cayman’s only show kitchen. The restaurant menu is a fusion of Modern European style and Caribbean taste. Our award-winning chefs showcase the great flavors found in the Cayman Islands through local produce incorporated into meals. Caymanian fishermen bring in the catch of the day which will quickly find itself to your dinner plate. The menu starters include soup, salads, ceviche, seafood spring rolls, calamari and steamed mussels. Entrees include Surf and Turf, Caribbean lobster, Guava-rubbed Pork Tenderloin served with sweet potato hash and Smoked Chipotle Pepper Jus, Sea Food Hot Pot, combining lobster, shrimp, scallops, mussels and clams with shiitake mushrooms in an aromatic coconut broth with steamed rice. The Rum Point Restaurant also serves great steaks cooked to perfection.

Great food, great wines, fabulous tropical drinks, an ambience unequalled on the island with the spectacular view and the idyllic setting and you’ve got a pretty nice set of reasons to have dinner with us here at the Rum Point Club.

WATERSPORTS

The warm clear and shallow waters of Rum Point make it an ideal snorkeling and diving spot. You are sure to encounter a number of local marine creatures who have taken up residence under our dock. Red Sail Sports operates a full service water sports center on property and these professionals cater to all your wishes. Hire waverunners, p addle boats and other beach toys. Haven’t you always wanted to try water skiing? Take a trip to Stingray Sandbar aboard the glass bottom boat with Capt. Jimmy Ebanks who loves to introduce visitors to our friendly Southern Stingrays.

If you are a scuba diver sign up for daily dive trips to Cayman’s spectacular North Wall and East End. For your convenience changing rooms, showers and lockers are provided.

CATAMARAN FERRY SERVICE

Guests from the west side of the Island can enjoy a luxury catamaran ferry service from Safehaven Dock to Rum Point Club Restaurant for only $5 per person. To book your reservations on the catamaran call 1-877-506-6368 (toll free) or 1-345-623-5965 (local).  Alternatively you can reserve online.
